Résumé : |
Women's sexual health following childbirth continues to be a 'neglected issue' (Masihi et al 2006), despite consistent identification of childbirth as a risk factor for postnatal sexual morbidity (Rosen & Pukall 2016). Sexual health is complicated and multifaceted phenomenon, combining psychological, social and physical aspects of health for both participants (Barett et al 2000, MacNeill 2006). Therefore, it is likely that factors affecting a woman's sexual health could have a wider reaching effect on her relationships, self-perception, and mental health (Abdool et al 2009). Dyspareunia is one such factor. |
