Résumé : | It is well documented that many women do not desire a short inter-pregnancy interval (Cameron et al 2017). The faculty of Sexual & Reproductive Healthcare (FSRH) of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) recommends that contraception should be part of maternity care (RCOG 2015, FSRH 2017). Additionally, shortly spaced and unplanned pregnancies increase the chances of mortality and morbidity in the mother and child (Sonalkar & Gaffield 2017). |
