Résumé : |
While there is a high level of public demand for responsive, evidence-based internet services, there is a paucity of research into UK midwives’ attitudes towards the use of social media in professional practice.
This study aimed to ascertain the prevalence of midwife involvement in Facebook groups, exploring experiences and perceptions of their use to communicate with and support mothers. The findings provide insight into the attitudes of midwives towards Facebook use, the benefits and challenges of developing the midwife’s rule in Facebook group provision, and barriers to development of the service. |
