Résumé : | "Supercomputers deploy massive number of cores working together to run highly parallel High Performance Computing (HPC) applications for long durations in the range of minutes, hours, or days. As the tasks of these applications communicate with each other intensively, the communication overhead comprises a significant portion of the applications' execution time. This article focuses on topology mapping (i.e., the placement of the application tasks into the processing cores) to minimize the communication overhead and to improve supercomputer efficiency."
