| Résumé : | Background : The influenza and pertussis (whooping cough) antenatal vaccine programmes have been instituted in the United Kingdom (UK) since 2010 and 2012 respectively to combat morbidity and mortality among pregnant women and infants. There is a higher maternal uptake of the pertussis vaccine in comparison to the influenza vaccine and the objective of this literature review is to understand why more mothers prefer to have the pertussis vaccine. |
