Résumé : | On 11 March 2019 the World Health Organisation (WHO) declared a global pandemic of COVID-19, a new coronavirus (WHO 2020). Most people infected with COVID-19 will experience mild symptoms but some, especially those aged over 80, those with underlying health conditions, those living in deprivation and/or those of Black and Asian descent, are at risk of significant morbidity and death (Public Health England (PHD) 2020). At the time of writing there are more than 93 million confirmed cases in 190 countries and there have been about two million deaths (WHO 2020). The pandemic continues to impact livelihoods, lifestyles, and personal autonomy across the world. |
